Bugatti Veyron | Bugatti Pictures | Veyron Photos | Pics

We lot should feel blessed and honoured that we’ve lived to experience the most significant celebration the automotive world has witnessed in a long time – Bugatti Veyron. It is the Vatican equivalent of things mechanical. There are cars, there are supercars and then there is the Bugatti Veyron. Transcendent automotive products like the Ferraris, Lambos and Koenigseggs bow down to the Veyron, such a technical marvel it is. Magnifying the car’s personality is the engine that is a 16-cylinder ‘W’ configuration motor. Fed by four turbochargers and breathing via 64 valves, the 8-litre engine is capable of producing 1001bhp and a colossal 1250Nm of turning force. Get this sort of a power on road and the earth’s rotation could speed up by a fair measure, such is the atrociousness of this engine! Alright, that’s perhaps an embroidery of my emotions, but you get the point.

A full-time all-wheel-drive mechanism helps deliver all of those 1000 horses without losing traction and the Veyron chews down the tarmac to reach 100kmph in a mere 2.5seconds, establishing itself as the fastest production car in the world in the process. With such hot performance at your disposal, you’d expect the Veyron to be a stripped down, no-frills, barren-insides sort of a machine, yes? Be surprised now, as the Veyron is one of the most luxuriously appointed set of wheels, ever... period. You get leather upholstery, ABS, airbags, bucket seats, ample storage inside, comfort enhancing gizmos... et all. The Veyron is capable of doing speeds in excess of 400kmph so the brakes better be game to get the speed down in no time at all. Carbon fibre discs that generate pressure of upto 180bar,eight-piston monobloc callipers and titanium pistons fitted with fine steel heads and ceramic heat protectors. At speeds of above 200kmph, the rear wing too acts as a braking mechanism, positioning itself at an angle of 113-degree. The airbrake increases negative lift at the rear of the car to 300 kg, enhancing the braking torque on the rear axle. At 400 km/h, emergency braking will bring the sports car to a complete halt in less than 10 seconds.

The Bugatti Veyron is not just a car, it is emotion, passion and art. It is heart and soul of things automotive.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 with its luxurious length of 4.47 m, is a perfectly balanced combination of high-powered performance and sleek, racy design. The “crest line”, which runs uninterrupted from the hood to the only 1.21-m-high roof, is a proud homage to the Veyron’s forebears.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 with its 16-cylinder four-wheel drive, may well be the most sophisticated production vehicle of all times.

This supercar boast a maximum speed of more than 400 km per hour which is unmatched in its category of super sports cars.

Boasting a maximum speed of more than 400 km per hour, the Veyron is unmatched in the super sports category. Bugatti Veyron offers a total of 1,001 HP, and its ample power reserves even at high speeds are the fabric of dreams for luxury-class limousines: for a constant speed of 250 km/h, the Veyron only needs 270-280 HP. This means that the seven-gear clutch transmission works with a torque of up to 1,250 Newton meters.

The Veyron 16.4 is the fastest production vehicle of all times.

Some pepole will think that with such a power and speed such a super sports car may not seem to be brought to a halt easily, but the Veyron’s ceramic brakes slow it down faster than it can accelerate.

Veyron 16.4 takes only 2.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, it needs even less time – a mere 2.3 seconds – to come to a standstill from 100 (reference point) which is simply exceptional. In order to reduce the risk of injuries in accidents, Bugatti had incorporated Formula 1 safety concept for the Veyron.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 uses the same launch control technology which are used by Formula 1 racing cars to reach maximum traction force from first to seventh gear and up to 400 km/h maximum speed. All these technical details combine to make the Veyron a truly exceptional super sports car.

The Veyron’s high velocity is due to the perfect combination of engine technology, consistent lightweight construction, specially developed tires, and the complex balance of propulsion and downforce.

In order to create the optimum aerodynamics, the Bugatti engineers have developed three configuration modes for flawless functioning of the car. The three modes are Standard Mode, Handling Mode and the Top Speed Mode.

In standard mode which is used for speeds up to 220 km/h, the rear spoiler system is completely retracted.

In handling mode, used at higher velocities, the vehicles nose is pulled down and the monumental rear spoiler deployed. This produces an additional 350 kg of downforce without compromising the Veyron’s exceptional turn dynamics. And then there is the top speed mode for velocities beyond 375 km/h, which is activated before the engine is started.

At top speed mode the front diffuser flaps are shut to make the underbody absolutely level, and the spoiler is completely aligned with the chassis, forming a tearing edge – thus, making the Veyron is perfectly adapted for top velocities. The downforce is reduced to minimize the strain on the tires, which is already considerable. The car is held down on the road by its own weight and the downforce.

Veyron
steering system is equally well balanced: the high connection stiffness of all elements ensures direct reactivity. The car follows each and every move of the driver, at any speed and with exactly the right dose of servo support.

In order to reach high speed the Veyron 16.4 needs to be light for that the engineers have used titanium, carbon, magnesium and aluminum for different component in the car. Each part of the Veyron 16.4 is made of the material with the lowest weight and the highest level of functionality and the result of that was a compact 1,888 kg high-powered performance with unmatched speed car.

The brake system Bugatti Veyron made of high-tech carbon, ceramic, and titanium materials, guarantees consistently high friction values and optimum cooling. Intelligent carbon-ceramic brake discs with interior ventilation, eight-piston monoblock caliper units in the front, and six-piston caliper units in the rear ensure the necessary driving agility on a par with professional racecars. The Veyron’s carbon ceramics brakes have to withstand surface temperatures of 1,100°C during the overload test.

Bugatti’s Veyron 16.4
is the first super sports car with guaranteed Electronic Stability Program (ESP) functionality which ensures the necessary flexibility and maneuverability at all speeds including top velocity, tested and approved by exceptional racecar drivers.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport redefine the boundaries of technology in automotive construction, the open-topped super sports car displays its power, performance, and self-assertion having the same charisma, perfection, and elegance.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 have superbly crafted leather seats which ensure extreme comfort even during long drives.

One of the design masterstrokes of Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is the transparent roof,it boasts a maximum area of tinted glass that lets in the sunlight without unwanted heat which transforms each ride into an even more memorable and striking experience.

The Veyron 16.4 tires feature a specially developed rubber compound, customized tire tread, and an elaborate tire pressure control system.

Veyron
front part of the monocoque is made of aluminum; the rear consists of a combination of carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum. The car’s safety concept, includes two frontal airbags for the front-seat occupants, is so sophisticated that additional airbags would be redundant.
